Regional Cross Country

REGIONAL PRIMARY & INTERMEDIATE SCHOOLS CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012
This event is to be held at Queen Elizabeth Park, MacKays Crossing (off SH1) on TUES. 26TH JUNE with postponement date Thurs. 28th June.

*The Y4-6 Inter-Zone Cross Country was canceled due to ground closures and weather conditions.  A team still needed to be selected for the Regional Championships.  A formula was implemented by the selectors for the selection of the Lower Hutt schools team.  The following students from Muritai School will represent the Lower Hutt Schools at the Regionals:

The course is open from 11.00 a.m. for walk around.  First race - Yr 4 Girls - commences at 12 noon with all other races following on at 10 min. intervals.  Please note these times are approx. only.

Could all athletes please report to either Dale Stechman or Dayle Jackson 30 mins prior to race to be recorded and receive a singlet for racing.




*This event will only be postponed if the weather conditions are deemed to be detrimental to the athletes' health and safety so PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR PUPILS ARE DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE CONDITIONS,i.e. polyprops/skins/tights/beanies etc. This announcement will come over Newstalk ZB / will be placed on the Primary Sport Wellington website.

Waterpolo

Primary and Intermediate Waterpolo has begun and with grading games over it is time for the competition proper to begin. Both teams have markedly improved as the grading games progressed and it will be good to see both teams achieving success in the water during terms 2 and 3. Below are the draws for the season:
