course is varied – flat and gentle hills with a variety of terrain – grass, track, etc.
SPECTATORS

Spectators are not permitted on the course areas marked
for the competitors or the officials at any time including the walk around the course. This also includes on the
oval or within its boundary fence

Spectators are not to interfere with competitors,
marshals or any other officials.

No dogs are permitted
at this event
VEHICLES
Cars
can be parked in the car park and road. People are asked to car pool to reduce
the number of cars requiring parking and when parking to be considerate in the
way their car is parked.
POSTPONEMENT / CANCELLATION
The
event will be postponed / cancelled if the weather conditions are deemed to be
detrimental to the athletes’ health and safety. (i.e. A combination of intense
rain, wind and cold.) If postponed /
cancelled due to the weather or ground conditions, the school sports association
convenor will be contacted and asked to communicate this information to their
participating schools. A cancellation
notice will also be announced over Newstalk ZB (AM 1035, or FM 89.3) placed on
the Primary Sport Wellington event day answer phone 027 6005112 and also on the
website www.primarysportwellington.org.nz
