School Cross Country 2013

Last Tuesday we had our annual School Cross Country Championships.  It was a FANTASTIC day!  There are a number of students who will now go on to compete in the Year 4-6 Central Zone Cross Country on Tuesday June 11th at Boulcott School.  The following students have been selected through placing in the top 10 in their race:

 

Waterpolo Draw

Reminder: White caps are always worn by the team named first in the draw.

Primary Waterpolo

Waterpolo begins this week with a grading game. The teams will then be placed into grades a or b and a draw will be made available. All communications, results, draws etc. will be available on the Hutt Waterpolo Website http://www.huttwaterpolo.org.nz/. If you are unsure of where to locate the information then follow the steps at the bottom of this post.

Other Reminders:

• Pool Entry Cost - Please ensure all your pupils are aware that they need to pay $2.00 cash to enter Naenae Pool.
• Caps – there is a supply of reversible hats in buckets poolside.  White hats are always worn by the team named first in the draw.  Please make sure that your players are ready to start play with their hats on  at the scheduled time.  We aim to keep games running on time and ask that all players are ready in the water with caps on lined up against the goal line at the scheduled time. 
• An adult from each team is required to be sitting at the scoring table before each game commences.   If your team scorer is not seated at the time the game is scheduled to commence, your game time will be reduced.
• For health and safety reasons, players are not permitted to wear goggles, jewellery, wrist bands, watches, piercings etc

Muritai Swim Team 2013

The Muritai School Swim Team 'battled' well today at the Y4-6 Central Zone Swimming Championships.  We placed 4th overall!  A special mention to Helena Cvitanovich who is the new Y6 Girls 25m Freestyle record holder with a time of 16.45.

We also have a few students who will now represent the Central Zone at the Inter-zone championships on held on Wednesday 10th April at Naenae Pool from 10.30-1.30pm:
