briefing 10.30am Meet Start
- Schools may
enter up to 2 students in individual events
- Students may
swim a maximum of 3 events plus 1
relay
- Please note the
open events (100m Medley, 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly) are for any
Year 4 – 8 swimmers – however we recommend these races are targeted at
Year 7/8 swimmers and only exceptional Year 4-6 swimmers should be
entered.
- There is an
Open Year 4 - 6 50m freestyle event.
- Schools may
enter one relay team per event
- The Mixed
Freestyle relay is for 2 boys and 2 girls from each year group.
- ALL SCHOOLS
MUST SUPPLY at least 2 OFFICIALS –
NO OFFICIAL NO SWIM
- Additional help from parents who are actively involved in swimming is very much appreciated eg Time keepers, Stroke judges, Starter, Turns officials.
Interzone
Qualifications
To qualify for the Interzone Swimming Meet swimmers
MUST reach the qualifying time indicated on the programme to progress through
to the Interzones as well as a top 2 placing in that event at Central Zones. This qualifying time must be swum at the
Central Zone event and not at school or club events.
